What is the difference between an action, an action pin, and a pin?

Actions are observations made during a review that might require additional follow-up.

Action pins are markup elements you can add to a markup layer to create an action. The action pin is linked to the newly created action and is a graphical locator for the action.

Pins are selected objects that you add to your Pinboard, so you can quickly access these objects to manage while you are working.

What happens when an action is rejected in the QA Review process?

The QA Action Rejection workflow handles the rejected actions during the document review process. The workflow identifies the originator of the action and sends a rejection notification.
