The viewing, conversion, hot spotting, printing, and redlining of files secured with Microsoft Azure Information Protection (AIP), or Information Protection in general (MIP), is not supported. You can attach, store, and manage those protected files with HxGN SDx.

The viewer does not support Office 95 or earlier files. You must save such files in later Office versions before working with them.
How do you use the different edit commands?
The following table shows the different edit commands and their capability, which is dependent on the object's state in the revision schema.

Edit Files or Download and Edit Files |
Creates a new document version. Checks out the new version, and downloads it to a client device along with copies of attached files for editing. |
Check In |
Checks in the files after being checked out for editing using Edit Files. |
Replace Files or Revise and Replace Files |
Creates a new document version, and allows you to update the document by replacing any attached files. |
Manage Files |
Updates the existing document version so you can manage the attached files using remove, add, or delete. |
Save Target As |
Downloads and saves a master file and any files referenced, including any nested reference files, to a client device. |
Undo Edit Files |
Removes any new version created by the check out. Sets the most previous version back to Working This option is available for the Document Controller role only. |
