The Copy Document command does not copy any files attached to the original document. Files must be added to the new document using the Manage Files or Replace Files commands. This is by design to avoid file duplication in the system.

You can copy any document master or revision. This copies the original document details, type, and values to create a new document.

  1. Select a document, and select Actions > Copy Document.

  2. On the Copy form, and give the document a unique name. Asterisks (*) indicate required information.

The new document cannot have the same name as the original document. If you use ENS, the system will apply the next available number as per your ENS settings.

  3. Select the revision scheme and addition information values as required.

SHARED Tip You can also use the Copy Revision command, which copies the document and revision scheme, but allows you to edit the revision scheme as required.
