The following applies if you are using a version of the software before Update 36. For the latest information, see Configure and maintain the system calendar.
Create a new calendar

Select File > New > Administration > Calendar in the Desktop Client.

Type a unique Name and Description for the calendar.

Click Finish to create the calendar.
Maintain your calendar

Right click the calendar in the Desktop Client, and on the shortcut menu, click Update.

Click New, select the calendar year, and then click OK.

The first time you open the Maintain Calendar form, the list view will be pre-populated with all calendars held in the system.

Working days are displayed in bold text; non-working days are displayed in normal text.

Select the check boxes for any standard non-working days (for example, Saturdays and Sundays).

To select any specific non-working day, click once on the day in the calendar. The text changes from bold to normal font.

Click OK to save the changes.
Implement a custom calendar

In the system options, under Workflow options details, select the calendar you created from the Workflow calendar drop-down list. For more information on the system options, see Configure the system options.
