If there are already 2D WebGL viewer files stored in the database before you configured
the software, you must manually generate markup renditions for those files. You can
generate in batch using the Create Markup Renditions in Batch command. For instructions, see Generate markup rendition files in batch.
To enable automatic generation, the software must be configured to generate 2D WebGL viewer files. If it is not, then markup rendition files cannot be generated. For more information, see Configure viewing of Hexagon file formats (retired).
No additional configuration is needed after the software is configured to generate 2D WebGL viewer files.
The SPFMarkupRenditionAutoGenerate flag on the SPFFileTypeFileType relationship definition between the 2D Hexagon drawing file type objects and the markup
rendition file type object is required for automatic generation of markup renditions.
If you disable this flag, markup renditions will not generate automatically.
