Security is key to the success of the collaboration work process. Security rules prevent:

Users of the To Organization from seeing communication items until they are issued

Users of the From Organization from seeing responses until they are returned.

File markup redlines present a significant challenge for security for the following reasons:

Files can be attached directly to the communication item, their responses, as well as documents.

Markup layers can be created on the same file for many different reasons, including sending technical queries and actions.

Markup layers can be created by any organization on the same file, but must not be visible to users of other organizations.
SDx Projects uses renditions to manage distribution of the relevant markup layers on any given communication item or response.
