To upgrade to the latest Update released for HxGN SDx, follow the procedures in this book.
To upgrade to the latest available Update, you must follow the full upgrade procedure as described here, even if the currently installed version is already 10.0.0 or later.

You cannot upgrade to the latest Update from any other product or any SDx version earlier than the initial release of SDx 10.0.0.

If you have HxGN SDx® Projects 2018 R1 and want to upgrade to the latest SDx Projects, you must migrate your environment. If you want to use the latest SDx Operations with the latest SDx Projects, you must migrate. Contact your project team or Hexagon Support for more information. HxGN SDx® Projects 2018 R1 is formerly known as Smart Digital Asset | Collaboration.

HxGN SDx Projects 2018 R1 cannot be upgraded using either the latest SDx or the latest SmartPlant Foundation upgrade process.
You can upgrade SDx using the Server Manager command from the command line. Use SDxServerManager.exe
with the /upgrade argument to upgrade SDx. For more information, see Server Manager command line syntax and arguments. However you still must follow the procedures in this book for preparation and to
perform upgrades procedures related to your configuration.
