If you need to completely reset the data storage for your tenant, you can request a tenant reset.
A tenant reset is a drastic action. We recommend pursuing alternative solutions prior
to requesting a tenant reset. This process can reset your tenant to the original,
delivered status:
-
No tools are registered.
-
No classifications, disciplines, classification mappings, issue purposes, revision schemes, or plant breakdown structures are loaded.
-
No users are configured.
-
No extensions to the Common Schema remain.
-
No objects, tags, assets, or models remain.
Only select individuals from your company can request a tenant reset.
To request a tenant reset:
-
Go to Smart Community and create an Estate Request case. The following information is required:
-
The complete tenant URL.
-
The date and time frame when the reset should take place.
Your tenant is inaccessible during the tenant reset, and depending on the amount of data that you must reload, you must plan for the time it takes you to restore your tenant settings.
-
Changes to the tenant including:
-
Resetting the database or restoring from a backup.
-
Resetting the Binary Large Object (BLOB) storage.
-
Retaining or removing all tenant users.
-
-
-
If you have integrated design tools, turn off tool sharing services, such as the Share Service for the tool, the Intergraph Schematic Scheduler, or SmartPlant.NET.
-
Notify your users of the HxGN SDx2 planned unavailability.
-
Wait for notification from Hexagon that we have completed the tenant reset for you.
-
Recreate your digital twin by following the procedures at Create your digital twin.
If you have integrated design tools, you must re-register those tools during the process of recreating your digital twin.
