Scenario: While reviewing the work package, you noticed that the attached electrical blueprint is not the latest. This is a problem, and it will delay the schedule. You must notify the A/E Consultant about this issue and get is addressed.

  1. Select [Work Package 1] from the list of work packages.

  2. Tap the + icon at the top right of the work package overview screen.

    Add New screen appears.

  3. Select RFI category.

  4. Enter the following details:

    Subject: Out-dated blueprint

    Description: The attached drawing does not have the revisions that were communicated verbally.

    RFI Type: Clarification

    Trade: Electrical

    Priority: High

  5. For Due Date, select a date by when you need the latest blueprint to be attached to the work package.

What's next?

You need to attach a supporting document.

Attach the document

  1. Tap on ADD FILES.

  2. Tap on From Document.

  3. Browse the Root Project Folder and select the checkbox next to Electrical Drawings Complete.pdf.

    You have now attached a supporting document to the issue.

  4. Navigate back to the Issue: RFI page.

What's next?

You need to route this issue to the A/E Consultant and make the consultant owner of the issue.

Assign the issue to concerned person

  1. Tap ASSIGN and then tap the checkbox next to A/E Consultant username.

  2. On the top-right corner, tap Done.

    You have successfully assigned this issue to A/E Consultant. You need to respond and resolve the issue after the consultant addresses it. In the next step, you will assign the A/E Consultant as the issue owner.

  3. Tap ADD ISSUE OWNER and tap on A/E Consultant username.

  4. On the top-right corner, tap Done.

  5. Verify the issue details and then tap CREATE.

    You have successfully created the issue and routed it to the concerned person and also assigned an issue owner.
