Select a BOQ structure node and click Options > Execute QTO.
The software calculates and displays the quantities from the 3D model. This might
take some time.

In the Execute QTO dialog box, click Save as new version to prevent changes to the original BOQ data.
You can save a copy of the existing version, and then click Save & continue to execute the QTO.

When the QTO execution is successful, click Refresh to see the result in the BOQ items grid.
In the 3D model, the software highlights the model elements related to the BOQ items.
Use the Show/Hide model toggle to see the highlighted model elements.
Smart Build Insight does not include IfcOpeningElement and IfcOpeningStandardCase opening elements while calculating the quantities. Opening elements are voids that
can be inserted into walls, slabs, beams, columns, or other elements.

You can clear all the column filters applied to the BOQ items at once using the Clear all filters option.

To know about the different values in a cell, click the info icon.
How do I add more properties to the QTO report?

On the Bill of Quantities panel, click the options menu and select Additional properties.

In the Additional properties window, select a property.

If necessary, click Add property and continue adding more properties.

How do I check which model elements are quantified using the 3D model?

On the left bar, click Quantification > Bill of Quantities .

Click Show/Hide model toggle.
You can see the 3D controls toolbar in the 3D space if your project has a model loaded
into it.

On the 3D controls toolbar, click the required option:

Quantified items - Shows only the model elements that are quantified.

Non-quantified items - Shows the model elements that are yet to be quantified.
You need to re-execute the QTO to reset the flag.
Model elements highlighted in yellow are associated with the BOQ node or item that
you selected.
