Seeing a project's model and information all in one place is great. But sometimes you need to see what a project site looks like in the real world. We've got you covered there, too!

On the Smart Build Insight Overview page, you can add links to a project's webcam on the Webcam widget. There are two kinds of links, static images (required) and live streams (optional).

Static images

A static image is a recent picture from a webcam. Static images are updated from the live stream every so often. How often is determined by the webcam setup.

The Webcam widget shows different things for the static image, depending on what the link is to:

  • The picture itself appears on the widget if the link is to a Multivista iFrame or OxBlue webcam. Clicking the picture opens it in a separate window.

For more information on Multivista, see www.multivista.com.

  • Otherwise, the webcam icon appears on the widget. Clicking the icon opens it in a separate tab.

Live streams

A live stream is just that—live, streaming video from a webcam. The live stream link appears on the bottom of the widget, and clicking it opens the webcam in a separate tab.
