  1. On the 3D controls toolbar, click Measurement tools .

    The information appears on the Measurement results panel.

  2. If you want to keep the information, click Save on the Measurements results panel. The information is added to the Measurement logs panel.

    While you work in the project, the points and measurements you save are kept in a running list. But once you leave the project, the list is cleared.

    Change what unit a measurement is in

    Choose a new unit from the Unit list in the results.

    When you save a measurement to the log, it is saved with the selected unit.

    See the coordinates used for a saved measurement

    Click Expand for the measurement in the log.

    SHARED Tip If you want the 3D model to zoom in and show only the selected measurement, on the 3D controls toolbar, select Settings > Zoom to the measurement location option.

    Remove a measurement from the log

    Click Delete for the measurement in the log.

    Remove all the measurements from the log

    Click Clear for the log.

    Copy measurement information from the log to use in another application

    Expand the log section for each measurement you want to use. Click and drag across the information to highlight it, then copy it.

    Open or close the panel

    Click Measurement logs on the toolbar.
