In this lab, you will learn how to navigate inside a TruView site scan, and visually check for any deviations using the measurement tools.
Measure Distance

In the TruView Viewer, click Measure Distance on the toolbar.

Click to pick a point on the scan.

Click to pick a second point to measure the distance between this and the first point.
The application displays the X, Y, Z coordinates, deltas, and distance between the selected points.
Measure Angle

In the TruView Viewer, click Measure Angle on the toolbar.

Click to three points on the scan to measure the angle between them.
Get the coordinates of a point

In the TruView Viewer, click Select Point on the toolbar.

Click to pick a point on the scan.

The application displays the coordinate values in the left panel.

Click SAVE.

Click to pick a second point on the 3D model.
The application displays the coordinate values in the left panel.

Click SAVE.
If you notice any discrepancies in the measurements, you can raise an issue directly from the TruView Viewer. The application creates a tag on the issue location (geotag), which you can use as reference. You'll learn how to raise an issue in the following lab.
