From the Start menu, right-click Visualization Data Service > VDS Configuration Utility and select the Run as Administrator option to start the VDS Configuration Utility (if not already started).

Click the Security Settings page.

Define the required settings that are indicated by the asterisk (*).

For the Audience ID (Service/Resource ID) setting, use the default value 11111111-1111-1111-1111-111111111111.
You will later change this value after you have completed setting up your authorization
server and you have your authorization server's ID.

If you are setting up the VDS Web Server to be hosted on a server that is separate from your client application and your VDS Application Server, you must configure the CORS settings. Otherwise, the VDS Web Server cannot access resources from other servers in your implementation.

After editing the settings, continue your setup.

Click Save & Configure. This stops all services, and then creates and restarts the virtual directories and application pools with the updated settings.
