Smart 3D enumeration mapping is implicit, which means the Smart 3D enumerations are assigned an enumeration number for the corresponding entry in the SmartPlant schema. The Schema Editor does not display this mapping information by default. In order to view the Smart 3D enumeration mapping in the Schema Editor, you must create explicit and temporary relationships from these implicit relationships.

You can create the temporary relationships with the Add container with implicit enumeration relationships command. This command is located in the Tools > Tool Schema File menu of the Schema Editor.

The mapping relationships created when using this command are not saved after you exit the Schema Editor. You must run this command each time you need to view the Smart 3D enumeration mapping relationships.

  1. In the Schema Editor, click Workflows > Overall Workflows.

  2. In the Tool Schema tab, click Open above the Schema File menu, and select a SmartPlant schema document.

  3. In the Tool Schema tab, click Open above the Tool Schema File menu, and select a Smart 3D map schema file.

  4. Click Tools > Tool Schema File > Add container with implicit enumeration relationships to create the temporary enumeration relationships between the SmartPlant schema and the Smart 3D map schema file.

  5. Click Tools > Tool Schema File > Integrated Map Environment to view and modify the SmartPlant schema and Smart 3D map schema file relationships.

You can view the mapping relationships in any of the Schema Editor mapping views.
