While publishing a second version of the document to SmartPlant Foundation, the software compares the objects in the current version to the previously published document's version. If an object is missing, the software checks for the object status in the tool database. If the status of the object is:

Deleted – Generates a delete instruction and publishes a Deleted Objects in <tool name> document in SmartPlant Foundation. These objects are deleted from the SmartPlant Foundation database.

Moved – Generates a move instruction, and the object relationship with the document is terminated in the SmartPlant Foundation database.
Each time you publish documents to SmartPlant Foundation, the software checks for the previously moved objects status in the tool database. If the items are not found in the tool database, the items are considered deleted, and generates a delete instruction. The software then publishes a Deleted Objects in <tool name> document in SmartPlant Foundation and the objects are deleted from the SmartPlant Foundation database.
The processing of previously moved objects is managed using the Automatic process of moved objects property. This property is predefined for each tool signature basis and you can configure it differently for different tool registrations.
You can use the Automatic process of moved objects property to defer the processing of move instructions while publishing objects to SmartPlant Foundation until manually specified.

The default publish settings can be configured in the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client for each registered authoring tool. In order to set those defaults or override the default value for the Check for deleted objects no longer on documents option on the Publish dialog box, you must be a member of the SmartPlantAdminIntegrator role.

Configure the Automatic process of moved objects property

Select Find > Integration > Signatures.

Right-click a signature and click Manage Integration Options.

Select an option from the Automatic process of moved objects section. Select False to publish documents without processing the move object instructions. Select True to publish documents by processing the move object instructions.

Click OK.

The Automatic process of moved objects property can be overwritten if you select Check for deleted objects no longer on documents while publishing from the authoring tool.

If the previously moved object is deleted in the authoring tool, you can set the Automatic process of moved objects property to True to process the delete instruction.
