For an authoring tool to support Intercompany Collaboration 2 (ICC2), the corresponding adapter document must contain the ProjectModeIntegration IEFAdapterProject tag, with the attribute Enabled value set to True. For more information about the IEFAdapterProject tag, see IEFAdapterProject Interface.

On each tool signature, you can configure that tool to support publishing to the plant level or any project within the plant. Choose from the following values to indicate what configuration you can publish from in each tool.

Value

Description

All

Allows you to publish documents to either the plant or projects within the plant. A document will be placed in the SmartPlant Foundation configuration that corresponds with the authoring tool plant or project that it was published from.

None

Prevents you from publishing from this authoring tool to this plant or any project within it.

Plant only

Allows you to publish only to this plant from this authoring tool. This is the default option (also referred to as ICC1) and will not allow you to publish to a project.

Project only

Allows you to publish to projects within this plant, but not to the plant level. A document will be placed in the SmartPlant Foundation configuration that corresponds with the authoring tool plant or project that it was published from.

  1. In the SmartPlant Foundation Desktop Client, click Find > Integration > Signatures.

  2. Right-click a signature, and click Manage Integration Options.
