The data that can be viewed by the Schema Editor is the contents of the XML file that is created as a result of a publish operation. You can view the data organized by schema class with many of the schema views, such as the Tree/Viewable UML or Tree/Properties views. With these views, you can identify the class, interface, and property elements contained in the XML file.
Before you can open a data file, you must open a schema or a file configuration that contains a schema.

Click File > Open > Data File.

Browse to the directory where the file is located.

Select the file that you want to open.

Click Open.
You can open XML data files (.XML) in the Schema Editor.
