The Asset Models link in the Admin Utility opens the Import Asset Models window. To use Topology, you need to import the PAS Topology asset model. When you import this asset model, Integrity automatically creates the PAS Topology asset. For more information about importing asset models, see Loading (Importing) Asset Models.

If your Cyber Integrity installation uses multiple databases, you must import the Topology, Inventory, Recon, and Network Devices asset models to the primary database, even if the primary database does not contain any data owners for these asset models. You must also run the Topology sequence on the primary database.

To import the Topology asset model:

  1. Launch the Admin Utility and click the Asset Models link.

  2. Click the Browse button to locate the model files provided with your installation, or type the path to the asset models to be imported. The path typically is C:\Program Files\PAS\Integrity\DataCollector\Asset Models if a default installation was performed. Since the Data Collector cannot access files on mapped drives, use only Universal Naming Convention (UNC) paths.

  3. From the Available asset model(s) list, click on the PAS Topology asset model to import and then click the > button to move the asset model to the Asset model(s) to be imported list.

  4. Click the Import button. Integrity displays a message to confirm a successful import.

After importing an asset model, always check the IntegrityMOC section in the Windows Event Viewer to verify that no errors occurred during the import. For more information, see Viewing the Event Log for Asset Model Loading Errors.
