Displays the current project status with respect to the As-Built plant and allows you to update or modify those statuses. This dialog box opens when you click PPM All Outputs Graphic on the Project Management toolbar.

  • The available options in the Smart Electrical Project Status dialog box depend on whether you open it from the As-Built or from the project. See below for details.

  • You cannot claim items in a project whose status has been set to Completed or Merged.

Smart Electrical project status — Indicates whether the project is Active, Completed, Merged, or Canceled. If your project status is Merged or Canceled, then no further actions are available on this dialog box.

Reactivate (only available from the As-Built) — Returns the project status to Active. This command is available only when the initial project status is Completed, Merged, or Canceled.

Complete Project (only available from projects) — Sets the project status to Completed. This command is available only when the initial project status is Active.  When you click Complete Project, a confirmation message appears.

Merge Project (only available from the As-Built) — Sets the project status to Merged. This command is available only when the initial project status is Completed. When you click Merge Project, a confirmation message appears.

Cancel Project (only available from the As-Built) — Clears all claims on all objects and sets the project status to Canceled. This command is available only when the initial project status is Active, Completed, or Merged.  If the Plant is not registered with SmartPlant Foundation, then the project is simply canceled out of Smart Electrical.

Claim All Completed Items (only available from projects) — Reverts the status of all completed items to Claimed. This command is available only when the initial project status is Active. For more information, see Change the Status of All Completed Items to Claimed.
