A load point defines the location where the software displays the profile cross-section on the member. There are 15 load points definable for a cross-section symbol, but only one at a time is used when the profile is placed.
-
A load point must be assigned multiple point names wherever required by the conventions described in Key Points.
-
Load point numbering conventions are not user-definable and must match the conventions described in Key Points.
-
On the XSection toolbar, click Add Point Properties to open the Define Mapping Points dialog.
-
In the Point name field, select Load Point.
-
In the Geometry Type column, select a Point2D in the table; the corresponding point highlights in the symbol graphics view.
-
In the Attribute setting field, type the appropriate point number or numbers.
-
Continue until the point numbers have been assigned to all points.
