Smart 3D Version

Provides options for moving claimed objects and 2D documents from one active As-Built project to another.

Source Project

Lists the primary projects allocated to the Change Management model. By default, the software displays the project that is currently set as active. Select the project from which to transfer the items.

Target Project

Lists all the active projects allocated in Smart 3D (excluding the project that you selected in the Source Project list). Select the project to which to transfer the items. Target Project is not available unless a project is selected from the Source Project list.

Objects

Displays a hierarchy (in tree view format) of the objects that are currently claimed to the source project. Select the check box next to each claimed object that you want to transfer. As you select objects, the software displays each one in the Selected for Transfer panel.

Documents

Displays a hierarchy (in tree view format) of the 2D documents that belong to the source project. Select the check box next to each document that you want to transfer. As you select documents, the software displays each one in the Selected for Transfer panel.

Selected for Transfer

Displays the claimed objects and 2D documents to be transferred from the source project to the target project.

View Log

Opens the log file using your default text editor. The software records the results of the transfer process and saves the log file to the local Temp folder.

Evaluate

Validates the claimed objects selected for transfer. Validation helps avoid any cross-project relations. For native Smart 3D objects, the validation is performed in Smart 3D. SDx performs the validation for Smart Interop Objects. After the validation process completes, the Selected for Transfer panel displays a summary of the items ready for transfer.

Because 2D documents are not linked to other documents, validation is not required. As such, Evaluate is not available when only 2D documents are selected for transfer. In these instances, you can directly transfer the selected 2D documents to SDx.

Transfer

Transfers the selected items to the target project. If any claimed objects are selected for transfer, this option is not available until after the claimed objects are validated. If you have selected only 2D documents, validation is not required and you can directly transfer the documents to SDx.

Cancel

Closes the dialog without transferring any items.
