The Route Smart Interop Diagnostics command corrects the data inconsistency in the Smart Interop route object data generated from PDS, PDMS, or previous versions of Smart 3D (Integration 1.0).

For data imported from PDS, the Route Smart Interop Diagnostics command:

  • Reclassifies all branch ports as ADDED ports. This ensures that the straight pipes has only two base ports (which is crucial for isometrics in Smart 3D.

  • Corrects the location and orientation of PDS components only if the local coordinate system of the corresponding ports has been correctly exported.

  1. Select the workspace or the objects that you want to validate and repair.

  2. Select Tools > Utilities > Route Smart Interop Diagnostics.

  3. In the Route Smart Interop Diagnostics dialog, you can select the objects to be validated. If you already selected the workspace or objects to be validated, the Active Selection is used if it is supported by command. To change the selection, use the Select one or more SIO Runs or By Filter options.

  4. You can validate and repair the following options:

    • Location of Piping Ports

    • Location and Orientation of Parts

    • Location of Part Override Data

    • Connection Items (Welds and Clamps)

    • Parts with Missing Parent

    • Branch Validation (Olets)

    • Part Connectivity

    • Run Connectivity

The Parts with Missing Parent and Part Connectivity options are not yet implemented.
