  • Ensure that the System Variable Path in the Environment Variables dialog box contains [Product Folder]\Smart3D\Core\Runtime.

  • Install the Programming Resources in the same location as the product. The Programming Resources installation is available on Intergraph SmartĀ® Support.

  • Install Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or a higher version.

  1. Right-click FormDefWizard.exe in the [Product Folder]/Core/Container/Bin/Assemblies/Release folder, and select Run as administrator to display the S3D Custom Form Definition Wizard.

  2. Specify the form definition location details. See Form Definition Wizard.

  3. Click Next to display the S3D Custom Form Definition Wizard Dialog Box

  4. Choose the part properties to be displayed on the form definition. See Choose Part Properties Dialog Box.

  5. Click Next to display the Creating the final Project page.

    This dialog box shows the steps to be performed after you click Finish. It also displays the new project location and a list of files that are created in the project.

  6. Click Finish to display the Creating the final project page.

  7. Click Open to open the solution of the .Net project. Click Close to close the form definition wizard.
