Select the object to rotate.

Click Rotate Object , or click Edit > Rotate Object, to display the Rotate Object Ribbon.

Select the Bearing, Pitch, or Roll options for the direction of the axis of rotation in the Axis direction section.

The Bearing, Pitch, and Roll options set both the axis of rotation and default measurement references.

When the pitch is +/- 90 degrees, the bearing measure is indeterminate.

If necessary, move the axis of rotation to a different location in the model by clicking Axis Position Point , and then click in the graphic view at the location of the origin.

For more precision in rotating, you can click Rotate by precision graphic input on the ribbon.
This option allows you to click a point in the model to graphically orient the object using a reference on the object. You can use the SmartSketch relationship indicators to locate the point.

Type a value in the Angle box to define the rotation, or drag the object to define the angle.

Type the increment value for the dynamic rotation input In the Step box. The default value is blank.

Click Close when you are finished rotating the object.
