Use Common Views to set the view to the right corner Isometric view, and then Fit the view.
The point grid does not display in isometric views.

On the PinPoint Ribbon, specify the Coordinate system, clear the Step box, and click Set Target to Origin .

Zoom in around the pipe end and vessel nozzle as shown below.

Click Insert > Construction Graphics.

Select More from the System list, and select a parent folder for the construction graphics. For example, expand A2>U01>Construction Graphics, and select the Piping system folder.

Click Line String .

Type a name such as MissingPipe_1 in the Name box.

Select the vessel nozzle as the start point of the line string.

Move the cursor straight up so the U glyph displays. With the U glyph displaying, click the middle mouse button to lock in the vertical axis. Then, left click on the pipe end as shown below to set the height.

Move the cursor east until the E glyph displays. With the E glyph displaying, click the middle button to lock in the east axis. Then, left click on the pipe end again to set the east distance.

Move the cursor and select the pipe end once more to end the route.

Click Finish to complete the line string.
