This rule checks the minimum distance between Hole Trace, and it’s connected parts. Here the connected parts are the Plate Parts and Profile Parts, on which the hole trace is being placed. If the distance between any Hole Trace and its connected part (plate part or profile part) is not less than 50mm or value prescribed by user, it reports error. The rule is a manual repair type rule, so user need to place the hole traces at the location which maintains a minimum distance <= 50mm (or the minimum distance as configured) with its connected parts.
Below image illustrates the Hole traces being placed at a valid distance that does not exceed 50mm or user given value from its connected parts (plate part and profile part).
The below image describes the hole traces reported with errors in production check when they do not maintain a valid minimum distance (<= 50mm) with their connected parts (Plate Parts, and Profile Parts.
Rule Arguments
There are three rule arguments defined for this rule.
Filter
This argument specifies the types of the objects to be filtered such that rule process further on the filtered objects.
Minimum Distance Between Hole and Plate Part of Structure
This argument specifies the distance between Hole trace and its connected Plate Part to be maintained (default value- 50mm).
Minimum Distance Between Hole and Profile Part of Structure
This argument specifies the distance between Hole trace and its connected Profile Part to be maintained (default value- 50mm).
The RCM Configuration of the arguments for this rule can be seen in the below images.
