Create a settings group that contains connection details and query intervals for the Smart 3D model.

  1. From the Start menu, select Intergraph Smart 3D > Intergraph Smart 3D Share Service to open the Configure Share Service Dialog.

  2. Create a settings group:

    1. Click New in the Select Settings Group list.

    2. On the New Settings Group Dialog, type the settings group name as shown in the example below, and then click Create.

  3. Select the site database server, the site database name, and your Smart 3D model.

  4. Specify the log file location, and for Log Verbosity, select Error that logs messages indicating only any failures in the current activity.

  5. For the Query Interval for Objects, select 10 minutes so that the service checks the specified database every 10 minutes for any added or modified objects. The service re-publishes upon any detected modifications.

  6. Click Save and Close to save your changes and exit the dialog.
