Override Drawing Option WDYWTD Icon

All isometrics in a given project are usually created using the same set of values for the various options in order to maintain consistency for the consumers of the isometrics. This is the reason that the isometric options are stored in the catalog and are under control of the administrator. However, situations can arise that require you to override the option values for a particular line or a set of lines. Examples include:

  • Some pipelines do not make optimum use of available space in an isometric at a particular orientation making them difficult to read. Using a different orientation can produce a cleaner output.

  • If a particular building or unit is rotated from the global origin, all isometrics can show skews. To avoid this, you can override options such as the rotation angle, to produce a cleaner output.

  • A pipeline that contains long pipes and many components can appear too crowded if True Scale is used. For these pipelines, you can turn off True Scale.

  • If certain lines should be allowed to create isometrics for in disconnected state, you can set Sort Input Parts to Connected Sets only for those lines.
