Controls the dimensioning of branches based on the number of components. Gasket and bolt entries are counted as components.
Type a value in the range 0-99. Branches that contain a number of components less than or equal to the specified value are not dimensioned. The branch in the example has six components: a weldolet, a weld-neck flange, two gaskets, a valve, and a blind flange. Setting Component Count to 6 or higher results in the branch not being dimensioned.
-
To dimension all branches, type 0.
-
Isogen does not suppress dimensions for any branch that contains pipe or pipe block.
-
Isogen treats fixed length pipe as a component. As such, branch dimensions are suppressed.
-
You cannot use Component Count to suppress dimensions for tapped branches.
-
Component Count can work independently of or in conjunction with Nominal Size, depending upon your requirements.
