You use the following tasks when you create Isogen Isometric Drawings by Query.

Set Up an Isogen Isometric Drawing by Query Component
Create and perform set up for an Isogen Drawing by Query component. See Set up an Isogen Isometric Drawing by Query component. When you select a filter in Setup, you are specifying the "what" portion of the query. In other words, you are specifying the objects to be included in the drawing.
Save the Isogen Isometric Drawings by Query Component as a Package
Save the Isogen Isometric Drawing by Query component as a package, so you can join it with a Query Manager to generate the query drawings. See Save a package.
Add a Drawings by Query Manager
Create a Drawings by Query Manager, then set it up to specify the "where" portion of the query for the Isogen Isometric Drawing by Query component. See Set up a Drawings by Query Manager component.
Run the Query
Use the Run Query Command to execute the query specified by the Isogen Isometric Drawing by Query component and the Drawings by Query Manager.
Create or Update the Drawings
To create or update the drawings, right-click the component, and then select the appropriate command. See Update drawing documents.
View the Drawing Log
You can view the drawing log to see any messages associated with the drawing. See View Log Command.
Set Drawing Properties
Specify the properties for the drawing component or drawing documents by right-clicking and selecting Properties. See Edit document properties.
View Extraction Data
View the extraction data by right-clicking an isometric drawing and selecting View Extraction Data on the shortcut menu. See View Isogen isometric extraction data.
Compare 2D Drawing Objects to 3D Model Objects
You can open an Isogen Isometric Drawing in a 3D task, and then compare the 2D drawing objects in the drawing document to 3D model objects. See Compare 2D Drawing Object to 3D Model Object.
Publish the Isogen Isometric Documents
Publish the Isogen Isometric Drawing by Query documents. You can publish only if your model has been configured for integration. See Publishing Documents.
The viewable files created when you publish drawings and reports provide relationship links to the 3D Model Data. You must also publish the 3D model data to provide the navigation between the viewable files and the 3D model data. See the Orthographic Drawings Help.
