After you have exported the .zvf and .xml file, use Smart Interop Publisher to translate the exported PDS model data into Smart Models. A Smart Model is based on a common enterprise schema and made up of .zvf graphics and .mdb2 property database files. See Review Terminology in Smart Interop Publisher Help on key Smart Interop Publisher references.

Workflow

  1. Install the latest Smart Interop Publisher software. To get started, see Smart Interop Publisher System Requirements.

  2. Perform Custom Mapping (Optional) for PDS data. Edit the delivered custom mapping PDS spreadsheet file

  3. Create a Project in Smart Interop Publisher. Open Smart Interop Publisher and create a project containing your PDS files.

  4. Translate to Smart Models. Use Smart Interop Publisher to translate PDS files to Smart Models.
