On the Assembly tab of the Workspace Explorer, right-click an existing block , assembly , assembly block , or Welds folder, and select Create Weld Folder.
The software first creates a Welds folder if it does not already exist. The software then creates a custom weld group folder under the Welds folder.

To change the name or type of the custom folder, right-click the folder and select Properties to display the Planning Joint Folder Properties dialog box.

To change the folder type, select a new custom value, such as Stage or Module, for Folder Type.

To change the folder name, select User Defined for Name Rule, and then type a new value for Name.
