The following information is specific to the product being installed on-premises. You cannot install and configure the interference detection service if you are using
Intergraph Smart 3D in Smart Cloud. Please open a service request using Cloud as the product and request
that the interference detection service be configured for the model. For information, see Contact the Smart Cloud Support Team.
Prior to installing the Database Interference Detection Service on a computer, verify that all prerequisite software has been installed. If you have an older version of the Database Interference Detection Service installed on your computer, remove it before loading the new software.
You must have administrator privileges on the computer to install the software.

Open Installed apps in System Settings.

Select Intergraph Smart 3D from the list of installed software.

Select Modify.

Select Database Interference Detection Service.
If you are running Oracle, you must install the 64-bit Oracle client on the computer running 64-bit interference detection.

Select Update.
