The Structural Analysis task has these commands:
Select
Used to select objects in the model. For more information, see Selecting Structural Analysis Objects.
Creates an analysis model, which is a logical collection of member parts, boundary conditions, and load combinations to export.
Update from Analysis/Design Command
Reads a CIMsteel Integration Standard (CIS/2 format) file that contains all the analysis and design results from a third-party analysis and design program.
Creates and edits load cases.
Creates and edits load combinations.
Place New Concentrated Load Command
Places a load that acts on a small area of a member.
Place New Distributed Load Command
Places a load distributed along the full or partial length of a member.
Set Boundary Conditions Command
Defines the support conditions that occur between the end of a member and the ground.
Export Analytical Models Command
Writes an analysis model to a CIMsteel Integration Standard (CIS/2 format) file to allow a third-party program to import the finite element representation of the analysis model. This command is on the File > Export menu.
Creates an XML mapping file for the section and material names used in the software and third-party application. This command is on the File menu.
