Provides greater control over the objects included in the target group copy. Browser displays on the Copy by Family Ribbon when you click Edit > Copy By Family Synchronize. Click Browser to open the CopySimilarForm dialog.

SHARED Tip If Browser does not display on the Copy by Family Ribbon, refresh the workspace and click Edit > Copy By Family Synchronize.

Inputs

Level 1 tab

Displays target objects that are candidates for copy, and indicates that one or more of the object inputs is missing.

Level 2 tab

Displays information about level 2 target objects. Level 2 objects are children of the Level 1 objects. This is the same hierarchy used on the Workspace Explorer System tab.

Level 3 tab

Displays information about level 3 target objects. Level 3 objects are children of Level 2 objects.

Bullet ICON

Adds a row to the table.

Com_Arrowhead_Right

Highlights the row. Smart 3D maps the selected rows.

!

Indicates whether the object is modified. Clicking Manual Find changes the Target Resolution to Not edited and selects the ! check box. Clearing the ! check box changes the Target Resolution to Edited.

Target Resolution

Displays the match Smart 3D found for the structure at the target location. This value depends on the input selected in the Input Type list.

Family range start

Displays the source object name located at the beginning of the family range (for example, Hull). The column heading matches the start value in the Family box on the Copy by Family Ribbon (for example, .14S).

Family range end

Displays the target object name located at the end of the family range (for example, Hull). The column heading matches the end value in the Family box on the Copy by Family Ribbon (for example, .17S).

Input Type

Specifies the relationship type for the displayed objects. The following relationships are available.

Immediate Inputs

Specifies required inputs for the objects being copied (for example, definition planes and boundary objects of a plate.

Unresolved Cross Overs

Shows common unresolved inputs between the source and the target.

Unresolved Out of Scope

Shows out of scope unresolved inputs for the target objects

All Inputs

Shows all objects to copy from the source to the target.

Candidates - All

Shows all candidates (not matched, auto found, and resolved).

Candidates - Not Matched

Shows objects with no match between the source and target. Manually select an object in the target group to match the source object.

Candidates - Auto Found

Shows geometrically similar objects between the source and the target. The software automatically finds these objects when you use the Find and Correlate . See Find and correlate objects across models.

Candidates - Resolved

Shows objects with a match between the source and the target.

Unselect

Identifies candidate objects. If there are no candidates in the inputs list, Smart 3D displays a message box that states "No selectable inputs."

Manual Find

Selects the objects displayed in the inputs list. The Target Resolution changes to Not edited, and the ! check box is selected.

Copy

Copies the selected source input to the target input.

Planar Dum

This command is unavailable.

X

Dismisses changes to objects in the inputs list.

Commit

Accepts changes to objects in the inputs list.

Select Objects

Object name box

Displays the name of the object selected on the System tab.

Refresh ICON

Deletes all relationships, including manual Find. You cannot recover these relationships.

Off tab

Hides the hierarchical object view.

System tab

Displays the objects to copy in a hierarchical view.

Copy type

Displays the following options:

Source to Target

Displays the source inputs and objects.

Target to Source

Displays the target inputs and objects.

Source only

Displays only the source objects.

Target only

Displays only the target objects.

Dependence tab

Displays source objects to copy and their dependencies in a hierarchy.

Level 1 tab
