Problem

A Configuration File Validation Error message indicates an invalid DATAFORMAT attribute value.

Possible Cause

This error typically indicates missing bulk loads, or incorrect output in the configuration file.

Solution

Determine whether the catalog or the configuration file is wrong. You need to know if the requested format is the result of a missing bulk load. If so, refer to the content team to determine whether you are also missing customizations that add new output formats.

If a missing bulk load is not the issue, edit the configuration file to match the user catalog. Locate the reported invalid DATAFORMAT (in the example error message above, CMfgPlateOutputCmd_Annotation2). Replace the invalid DATAFORMAT with a valid format that generates the expected output data.

SHARED Tip You can find valid options in the catalog table, as shown below.

  • The Name column in the catalog table contains valid values for DATAFORMAT attributes.

  • The Process column contains the user string value from the Part Monitor process menu.
