To configure the authorization server for the Smart 3D Admin API, you use the Configuration Utility's Smart 3D Admin Web Server page, authorization information sections.

Both APIs can share the same configuration. But you can use a different configuration for each API.

SHARED Tip If this is the first time the server is being configured, you might see default configuration options. This happens if the server for another API has already been configured.

Go to the Smart 3D Admin Web Server page > Web Server sections

  1. On the machine you are using as the Admin API web server, open the Configuration Utility:

Start > Intergraph Smart 3D > Web API Configuration Tool

  2. On the Welcome page, select Setup Admin Web Server.

  3. Click Next until the Smart 3D Admin Web Server page shows the Authorization Details section at the top.

SHARED Tip Be sure you're on the Smart 3D Admin Web Server page and not the Smart 3D Plant Web Server page.
