Select Structural Tab > Opening Command to display the Place Opening Controls.

Select the object for the opening. You can select members or slabs.

Select how to name the opening.

Set the Cutting Limit and Cutting Depth if needed.

Select the parent object plane on which to place the opening.

Select Define Boundaries .

Select Sketching to display the Sketching Controls.
Select Menu > Options > General Tab, and select Sketch In Oriented View have the software automatically switch the orientation of the active graphic view look down on the sketching plan.

Using the Draw commands, sketch the slab boundary.

Select Accept to indicate that you are finished sketching the boundaries.

Select Navigate Backward to return to the Place Opening Controls.

Complete the placement:

Select Finish or press CTRL + ENTER to save your changes and exit the command.

Select Finish and Modify or press CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then start the modification of that object.

Select Finish and Repeat or press SHIFT + ENTER to save your changes, and then restart the command using the same options.
