Fit to selected objects, or Pan and Zoom your graphic view to display the required sections of the model.

Select the Clip By Volume Command (CTRL+B) on the View Manipulation Toolbar or from the View Tab. The clip volume wireframe defaults to the defined graphic view.

You can further resize and move your clipping volume as required. To resize, select a clipping-volume corner-sphere or a plane-indicator arrow, move your mouse and then select the new location.

When the clipping volume is at the required size and location, select Named Views on the Clip By Volume Controls.

Select New and type a name to create a new named view that contains the clipping volume view.

Close the Named Views (V), and then select Close on the Clip By Volume Controls to accept the clipping and return to the modeling mode.

Select Windows > Named Views, and then select the named view you just created. You can continue to use the Clip By Volume Command (CTRL+B) and other commands to modify the view as required.

Close Named Views when you have finished modifying the view.
