Contains global settings for showing or hiding coordinate system labels.
Show Label
Display Grid Line Labels
Shows the grid line labels for the coordinate system grid lines. Clear the check box to hide the grid line labels. This option is off by default. The Preview pane shows the behavior of this option.
In addition to selecting this option, you must right-click on a coordinate system
and select the Show Labels command to see the grid labels. Activating only this option will not display the
grid labels in the model.
Dimensions
Display Grid Line Dimensions
Shows grid line dimensions between grid lines in the x and y axes. Clear the check box to hide the grid line dimensions. This option is off by default.
In addition to selecting this option, you must right-click on a coordinate system
and select the Show Labels command to see the grid dimensions. Activating only this option will not display
the grid dimensions in the model.
X Plane
Contains options for changing Label Text Settings and Label Style Settings for X Plane grid line labels. These options are described later in this topic, and are identical for each plane.
Y Plane
Contains options for changing Label Text Settings and Label Style Settings for Y Plane grid line labels. These options are described later in this topic, and are identical for each plane.
Z Plane
Contains options for changing Label Text Settings and Label Style Settings for Z Plane grid line labels. These options are described later in this topic, and are identical for each plane.
Radial Plane
Contains options for changing Label Style Settings for Radial Plane grid line labels. These options are described later in this topic, and are identical for each plane.
Radial Cylinder
Contains options for changing Label Style Settings for Radial Cylinder grid line labels. These options are described later in this topic, and are identical for each plane.
Label Text Setting
Contains label text settings for the selected plane (X Plane, Y Plane, or Z Plane).
Label Rule
Specifies the label rule the software uses to display the label. Select one of the label rules described below.
Alphabetic
Displays labels using letters.
Numeric
Displays labels using numbers.
Inherit From Plane
Displays labels using the corresponding plane names.
Remove Labels
Specifies the characters the software does not consider for labels. This option is only available when Label Rule is set to Alphabetic. Type the characters to exclude separated by a comma.
Label Style Setting
Contains label text settings for the selected plane (X Plane, Y Plane, Z Plane, Radial Plane, or Radial Cylinder).
Bubble Shape
Specifies the label shape. Select Circle, Rectangle, or None. None displays the grid line labels as plain text.
Label Interval
Specifies how often the software displays grid labels. When the label interval is 1, labels display for all grid lines. An interval of 2 displays grid labels on every other grid line. This option is not available for Radial Cylinders.
Radius/Diameter
Specifies if you want to see the cylinder's radius or diameter. This option is only available for Radial Cylinders.
Preview
Displays a preview of the grid line labels and grid line dimensions based on your selections. The Preview updates when you modify an option with respect to the selected tab.
