Allows you to create temporary sets of selected objects. You can then perform actions on these sets. For example, you can use the Fence tool to select a large group of objects, and then you can create a set for a specific object type in that group. You can also select objects from the hierarchy explorer. These sets persist only during the active session.
By default, the Selected Objects dialog is pinned to the left edge of your display. You can drag it into its own window.
Right-click in the Selected Objects to display the following options:
Name Set
Opens the Name Set Dialog, which allows you to type a name for the set of selected items in the Selection Browser. If you type a name that already exists for another set, Smart 3Dx displays a message telling you of the situation and giving you the option to overwrite that set.
Refresh Set
Clears the objects in the Selection Browser, and replaces them with the newly selected objects.
Add to Set
Adds the selected object to the select set.
Remove from Set
Removes the selected objects from the Selection Browser.
Send to Selection
Highlights objects selected in the Selection Browser in the System Hierarchy Explorer. The System Hierarchy Explorer also highlights child objects of the Selection Browser select set. This option only displays when you point to an object in the Selection Browser.
