-
Select an existing volume to display the Modify Volume Controls.
-
Click Volume Manipulator to display handles, dimensions, and the association status on the selected volume.
Because the selected volume was placed without using Assoc Enabled , each point that defines the volume shows that the association is not enabled. If you place the volume using Assoc Enabled , you need to break the association for each point that defines the volume before modifying it.
-
Click the handle that corresponds to the part of the volume to manipulate.
The handle displays in a magenta color, and the corresponding volume face highlights. The volume face is dynamically attached to your cursor.
-
Move your cursor to the new position.
A wireframe is dynamically attached to your cursor.
-
Click to release the handle.
The software displays a green wireframe around the modified volume, and the handle is no longer attached to the cursor.
-
Complete the placement:
-
Select Finish (CTRL + ENTER) to save your changes and exit the command.
-
Select Finish and Modify (CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER) to save your changes and then start the modification of that object.
The completion commands are not available until you set valid properties (Catalog Type and Space Folder) and modify the volume.
