Displays when you select Quick Pipe Command S3D_QuickRoute_Pipe ICON on the Piping Tab.

Select

S3D_Point_Start ICON Route From

Click to define the start point. Use a locate filter (S3D_Objects_Select_All S3D_Pipe_End_Feature S3D_PipeNozzle_Port ICON S3D_Pipe_Straight ICON) to help define the start point.

S3D_Point_End ICON Route To

Click to define the terminating point. Use a locate filter (S3D_Objects_Select_All S3D_Pipe_End_Feature S3D_PipeNozzle_Port ICON S3D_Pipe_Straight ICON) to help define the end point.

S3D_Objects_Select_All All

Click to enable the selection of end features, pipe nozzles, straight features, or any point in the model space. You need to use this option when defining pipe run turns between the pipe run ends.

S3D_Pipe_End_Feature End Feature

Click to limit selection to pipe end features. You cannot select a point in model space with this option.

S3D_PipeNozzle_Port ICON Pipe Nozzle

Click to limit selection to pipe nozzles. You cannot select a point in model space with this option.

S3D_Pipe_Straight ICON Straight Feature

Click to limit selection to pipe straight features. You cannot select a point in model space with this option.

Path Options

Displays all possible route path options to join the two selected points. Point to an option to preview the path in the model. Click the path to use.

Commodity

Straight Option

Select the option code associated with the pipe to use while routing. Only those option codes defined in the controlling piping specification appear.

Turn Option

Select the option code associated with the turn component to use while routing. Only those option codes defined in the controlling piping specification and shared by all the short codes that can be placed automatically while routing appear. The software displays only the options available for all short codes available during routing. For example, if a pipe spec writer added a second choice for a 90ยบ direction change, then route would not display that option in the list.

Run

Displays the options to select pipe runs and create a new pipe run.

Select

Specifies a parent run from the graphic view or from the System Hierarchy Explorer. You can also select recently used runs from the Select Run list.

Select from P&ID

Currently not implemented.

S3D_Pipe_Run ICON New Pipe Run

Displays the Pipe Run Controls. Use this option to create a new pipe run.

More

Displays the Select Run Dialog. Use this option to select a pipe run that is associated with a different pipeline.

Select Run

Displays recently selected pipe runs from which you can select a pipe run.

Run Parent

Displays the name of the parent pipeline. Hover over this field for a tooltip that displays the entire system path.

Completion

Com_Cancel Cancel (ESC)

Cancels all changes and exits the command.

Finish (CTRL + ENTER)

Saves all changes and exits the command.

Finish Repeat ICON Finish and Repeat (SHIFT + ENTER)

Saves all changes, and then restarts the command.
