Workspace filters help you focus on the objects you're most interested in without getting distracted by objects you don't need to see.
Workspace filters retrieve the objects that you want to display in your workspace from the database and remove any objects in the workspace that do not match the filter criteria. You can select a filter from any of the following views:

Detailed View

Folder View
When you click Apply, Smart 3Dx remembers the active view. The software then uses that view as the default the next time you open the dialog.
Select options in the Refine By section to narrow the list of filters, or type the name of the filter in the Search filter name box to display specific filters.
