Move an object from its origin

Selectthe equipment to move. The equipment highlights and the Modify Equipment Controls display.

Select Move . The Position and Orientation controls display, the location triad displays at the equipment origin, and the equipment displays in dynamics.

If necessary, select a Working Plane from the list.

Select to place the object in its new location.

Complete the move by doing one of the following:
Select Finish (CTRL + ENTER) to save your changes and exit the command.
Select Modify (SHIFT + ENTER) to save your changes and then start the modification of that object.
Move equipment from a point other than its origin

Selectthe equipment to move.
The equipment highlights and Modify Equipment Controls displays.

Select Move .
The Position and Orientation controls display, the location triad displays at the equipment origin, and the equipment displays in dynamics.

If necessary, set the Working Plane to something other than No Plane to force the move to remain on that plane.

Select Move From (CTRL + T). You can also select the yellow sphere on the location triad to activate Move From .

Drag the location triad to the new start position, and select to confirm the location.
The equipment displays in dynamics and moves with the cursor.

Select to define the new equipment location.

Complete the move by doing one of the following:
Select Finish (CTRL + ENTER) to save your changes and exit the command.
Select Modify (SHIFT + ENTER) to save your changes and then start the modification of that object.
