Smart 3D Version
13.1

Displays properties for ship zones. Ship zones are logical spaces within and around a ship that might or might not physically overlap. In most cases, ship zones are defined by a rectangular bounding box. The properties and specifications of compartments, ship zones, and other volumes are defined in the reference data in the Catalog task.

The order in which the properties display in your view depends on your configuration.

Approval State

Specifies the status of the selected object or filter. Changing this property sets the Status. The display depends on your access level. You might be unable to change the status of the object. The list is defined by the ApprovalStatus codelist.

Smart 3Dx saves an object to the database when you change that object's status. Use Undo (CTRL + Z) to reverse the status change.

You can only edit or manipulate an object with a status of Working.

Center of Gravity X

Specifies the X-coordinate for the center of gravity of the volume.

Center of Gravity Y

Specifies the Y-coordinate for the center of gravity of the volume.

Center of Gravity Z

Specifies the Z-coordinate for the center of gravity of the volume.

Specifies the name of the person who created the object.

Date Created

Specifies the creation date of the object.

If you type a name in this box, Smart 3Dx automatically changes the naming rule to User Defined.

Specifies the X-coordinate for the moment of inertia of the volume.

Moment of Inertia Y

Specifies the Y-coordinate for the moment of inertia of the volume.

Moment of Inertia Z

The parent system of the object must have an Approval Status of Working before you can change the Parent System value. If the Approval Status of the parent system is not set to Working, this value is read-only.
