Displays properties for trench straight features. A trench straight feature contains the properties of a straight section of the trench and inherits properties from the parent trench run. You can manually change some properties, such as the trench width, to modify the dimensions of the individual feature.
The order in which the properties display in your view depends on your configuration.
Approval State
Specifies the status of the selected object or filter. Changing this property sets the Status. The display depends on your access level. You might be unable to change the status of the object. The list is defined by the ApprovalStatus codelist.
Smart 3Dx saves an object to the database when you change that object's status. Use Undo (CTRL + Z) to reverse the status change.
You can only edit or manipulate an object with a status of Working.
Bottom Slope
Specifies the slope at the bottom of the trench. Type a negative value for a clockwise slope and a positive value for a counter-clockwise slope. You can type a value only when the slope is not computed by the software for the selected bottom slope or top slope method.
Bottom Slope Length
Specifies the length measured along the bottom slope; that is, along the line joining cardinal point 2.
Created by
Specifies the name of the person who created the object.
Date Created
Specifies the creation date of the object.
Date Last Modified
Specifies the date of the last modification to the object.
Dry Center of Gravity
Specifies the location of the dry center-of-gravity for the object.
Dry Weight
Specifies the dry weight of the object.
End Invert Elevation
Specifies the invert elevation at the end point of the path. Invert elevation is the elevation at the top of the bottom footing of the trench.
Footing Volume
Specifies the total volume of the footings. This value is calculated by the software.
Hyperlink
Specifies the URL or local file path associated with the object. Click the hyperlink to open the page or object in your default browser. Point to the hyperlink to display the URL or path as a tooltip.
Description
Specifies the descriptive text associated with the hyperlink.
URL
Specifies the web address or local file name associated with the hyperlink. The URL must include the protocol, such as http: or https:, as well as the domain name. For example, https://hexagonppm.com/.
Last Modified by
Specifies the name of the person who last modified the object.
Name
Specifies the name of the selected object. If the name is too long to entirely display in the box, point to the box to display the complete name as a tool tip. If the name is not defined by a rule, User Defined displays. If this name is generated by a naming rule, Naming Rule displays. If you type a name in this box, Smart 3Dx automatically changes the naming rule to User Defined.
Other Volume
Specifies the total volume of the Trench Other parts. This value is calculated by the software.
Parent System
Specifies the parent system for the object. Recently used systems that are appropriate to assign as the parent system for this object display in the list along with the Select from Workspace and Select from Model options. The most recently used system displays at the top.
The parent system of the object must have an Approval Status of Working before you can change the Parent System value. If the Approval Status of the parent system is not set to Working, this value is read-only.
Select Interactively
Turns on or off the interactive selection. When this option is on, you can select the parent object in a graphic view or any of the explorers.
Select from Workspace
Displays the Select Parent System Dialog with the Workspace tab open. The workspace is the subset of the active model database you specified when you started your design session. Navigate the hierarchy to select the parent system, and then click OK.
Select from Model
Displays the Select Parent System Dialog with the Model tab open. The model is all of the objects in the active model database, including those that are not part of your workspace. Navigate the hierarchy to select the parent system, and then click OK.
Slab Volume
Specifies the total volume of the bottom slab. This value is calculated by the software.
Start Invert Elevation
Specifies the invert elevation at the starting point of the path. Invert elevation is the elevation at the top of the bottom footing of the trench.
Top Slope
Specifies the slope at the top of the trench. Type a negative value for a clockwise slope and a positive value for a counter-clockwise slope. The value of the top slope must not exceed 60 horizontal degrees. You can type a value only when the slope is not computed by the software for the selected bottom slope or top slope method.
Top Slope Length
Specifies the length measured along the top slope; that is, along the line joining cardinal point 8.
Trench Length
Specifies the horizontal length of the trench run.
Wall Volume
Specifies the total volume of the walls. This value is calculated by the software.
Wet Center of Gravity
Specifies the location of the wet center-of-gravity for the object.
