Redirect Universal Resource Indicators (URIs) are web pages that a user sees after logon or logout. For example, a web-based Smart Client can be redirected to the application home page after authenticating with Smart API Manager or another external identity provider. The home page is defined as a Post Login Redirect URI.

A Smart Client can have more than one of either type of redirect URIs. For example, you might define different post login redirect URIs for when a user successfully or unsuccessfully logs on.

  1. On the left panel, click Smart Clients .

  2. Click the Smart Client in the grid to see its details.

  3. In the Redirect URIs section, click then click Add redirect URI.

  4. In the Add Redirect URI dialog box, click Redirect URI and type the URI.

The content and format of what you enter depend on the type and architecture of the Smart Client. For example, the Redirect URIs for Smart API Manager, itself a Smart Client, might look like this:

  5. Click NEXT and then FINISH.
