Deploying Metadefender with Client Environment
This feature inspects for the possibility of any potential vulnerable content or items in the files that are being uploaded to any manager in the Smart Completions. It uses Metadefender to scan the files that are uploaded. To include this virus scanning to your Smart Completions application, configure the <BaseURI> tag with your Metadefender machine details to the configuration file. If the the tag <ScanUsingMetaDefender> is set to No, the uploaded files will not be scanned.
The configuration file is stored at
...\Frontend\bin\config.xml
If you are using Smart Completions hosted in Smart Cloud environment, the files will be automatically scanned by Metadefender (already integrated within Smart Cloud).
